We welcome your support and invite you to attend board meetings held in the band room, on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 P.M. Our next meeting will be September 8th, 2004.
WACMA awarded one five hundred dollar scholarship to one of our seniors who is going into the field of Music. Twelve scholarships for music lessons and camp were also awarded to freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
We purchased Polo shirts for the Choir Trip to Florida.
We bought a full page of Advertising in the Music Program.
We organized the Choir/Orchestra Banquet.
We have brought to consideration paying for Medals and Registration Fees for Solo Ensemble Festival 2004/2005.
We overhauled our By Laws.
We organized two fundraisers in the fall and winter.
We started WACMA.ORG to help educate the public about WACMA and build awareness around the impact of State and Federal Funding on our School Music Programs.
Congratulations to the Central representatives that qualified for State Solo-Ensemble, which was held at UW-Milwaukee on Saturday, April 24.
* First Division Ratings:
Central's Orchestra had fifty-five entries in the local Solo and Ensemble Festival.¬Ý Fifty-two of those went to State.¬Ý All the groups registered for the State Festive received first division ratings.
